Singing for Fun (exclusive to York Carers)
Have fun and experience the feelgood factor of learning to sing in harmony with others!
Enjoyable, approachable no-pressure sessions designed to be fun, fun, fun all the way – no matter what your age or ability! It doesn’t matter if you can’t read music or haven’t sung in years – come and join us to discover (or rediscover!) the joy of singing together in a lovely friendly and supportive group.

In these sessions, we will practice some physical and vocal warmups that are important to ensure we look after our bodies and voices before exploring a wide repertoire of music – from popular hits to gospel songs, sea shanties and traditional tunes to songs from around the world. All songs that are easy to follow and many that you will know already!

All learning resources and lyrics will be provided (and also made accessible electronically), but everything is also taught by ear for a well-rounded and completely accessible approach.

This course is exclusive to York Carers. To book contact: enquiries@yorkcarerscentre.co.uk, 01904 715 490.
