Painting for Beginners - Watercolour & Acrylics
An introduction to two popular mediums, this course will be split into two parts, with five weeks of Watercolour Painting followed by five weeks of Acrylic Painting. Designed for beginners, you will be given step-by-step guidance starting with the basics of looking after your materials, mixing colours and different painting techniques.

You’ll work on a range of fun and achievable painting projects during the course, guided by your tutor, allowing you to practise and grow in confidence. Useful resources will be posted online too, for you to access at home.

This course is suitable for beginners with little or no previous experience; or, for learners wanting to refresh their skills with a back-to-basics approach.

You’ll need to provide your own art materials and bring them to class. For the first week you will need A4 watercolour paper, watercolour paints, brushes, pencil and a rubber. You will be given further details about Acrylic Paint materials during the first half of the course.

Please bring your own hand sanitiser and sanitiser wipes to each session.

No sessions on 21st October 2021 and 28th October 2021.
