Chair Yoga - FREE TASTER
One major positive aspect of chair yoga is to further the meaning of yoga, which is to unite. Using a chair as a prop makes yoga accessible, helping promote inclusiveness and a sense of participation. A chair offers a stable base for those less mobile and is adaptable to the physical needs of a variety of restrictions and varying disabilities. Chair yoga can help improve flexibility and strength, better co-ordination and body awareness, reduce stress and anxiety. As well as practising safe yoga poses, your tutor, Alison will incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques to help calm the body and mind. This session will give you a basic understanding of the philosophy of yoga. You will be able to use the skills you have learnt to assist you in creating positive changes which may help you navigate more effectively through everyday life. Prosp User 3
