Spanish Year 2
Term 1: - Learn how to ask people about their likes and dislikes, and express your own opinions about something; explaining why you like/dislike it. You will also familiarise yourself with fruit and vegetable-related vocabulary and ask for them in a variety of quantities. You will also be able to describe items to someone in the market or in a shop.

You will learn by listening to and repeating new words and phrases, reading simple texts, doing a variety of exercises and practising new language in role play situations.

If you decide to enrol in the spring and summer terms 2022, this is what will be covered:

Term 2: - You will be able to purchase souvenirs and gifts in shops, as well as asking for the prices and understanding the reply. You will also learn how to conjugate irregular verbs in the present tense and how to use them correctly. You will build confidence using public transport and be able to ask for arrival and departure times, in addition to buying tickets and checking travel details.

Term 3: - You will learn how to book or check into a hotel over the phone or in person, in addition to ensuring that your room has the proper amenities. Furthermore, you will be able to ask about the facilities in the hotel and resolve any issues that may arise with the room. You will also be able to talk about the type of accommodation you prefer and where you like to go on holiday.
