Japanese Year 2
The term will focus on talking about your daily life, your family and your passions. New forms of verbs will be introduced, together with informal speech.

This course is suitable for learners who attended Year 1 during the previous term, or for people who are comfortable with hiragana and katakana, sentences ending in desu, the polite forms of verbs, particles and location words.

A notebook and pen. The teacher will provide you with the course materials in PDF format via email. The teacher will also recommend any extra material you may need to purchase during the term.

During the week you will be asked to do some homework or watch videos on YouTube that support the learning process.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive your Zoom login details 24 hours before the course is due to start and these details will remain the same throughout the course. (If you haven't received your Zoom code by the day of your course, please check your junk email inbox. Late enrollers will receive the Zoom code on the day that the course starts.)

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.

Please note that Adult Education funding is for individuals who are over the age of 19 on the 31st of August prior to the start date of their course.
