Russian Year 2
Здравствуйте! This course is a continuation of the Year 1 Beginners class. It is suitable for those already who have some knowledge of Russian, such as reading, ability to converse on everyday topics and basics of grammar and would like to build on their skills. You will learn to communicate in, and understand Russian in a range of everyday situations. There are also plenty of fascinating insights into modern Russia and traditional customs.

During the course you will learn phrases and vocabulary needed to travel in Russia by various means of transport, book accommodation, do shopping, express feelings, visit friends in Russia. We will also further cover the more challenging aspects of Russian grammar, such as cases, tenses, verbs of movement, verb aspect, different forms of adjectives and pronouns.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using.

You will receive the Zoom code and password by email 24 hours before your course is due to start. (Please check your junk email if you haven't received it by the day of your course.) The Zoom code login and password you receive will be the same for every class this term.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
