Painting & Drawing
This course provides an exciting exploration of drawing and painting. The course is structured into two-week projects in which we will focus on both a particular medium and a particular artist or group of artists.

We will be making a variety of work using pencil, charcoal, ink and watercolour/acrylic paint whilst exploring the work of living artists such as Hector Gonzales, Jenny Saville, David Hockney and Elizabeth Blackadder.

Teaching and learning will be based on a variety of methods including tutor presentation and one-to-one personalised guidance. Learners are also encouraged to experiment and incorporate their own ideas. This is a fun opportunity to learn something about other artists, to be creative and to experiment with different drawing and painting techniques, within a relaxed and encouraging environment.

It is important that you refer to the sections “What do I need to bring” and “Is there anything else I need to know”.
