Simple Watercolours
Open Course Description
This is a fun and structured course covering a range of painting exercises to help you grow in confidence. Each week we’ll work on a painting exercise, looking at watercolour techniques such as wet-on-wet and dry brushing. You’ll be provided with images to work from and your tutor will do live demonstration during the lesson, so that you can paint along at home. As you develop in your confidence and technique you’ll be encouraged to develop your own style and imagery. Prosp User 3

Open What do I need to bring and are there any additional costs?
You will need your own set of watercolours (in a range of colours), a palette and round watercolour brushes. You can use a selection of brush sizes - for example a 2, 4 and 6. It is useful to have a larger brush (a 1 inch or bigger) for creating washes and a sponge for wetting your paper. You can use any watercolour paper and A4 or A3 is a good size – please have a ‘spare’ sheet of paper or sketchbook for testing colours on and making notes. Prosp User 5

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using.

You will receive your Zoom login details in an email that is sent out 24 hours before the course is due to start. (Please note, if you enrol less than 24 hours before a course starts, you will receive your zoom code as soon as you enrol.) Please keep your Zoom code safe as you will need the same code for further classes if this is part of a course.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
