Drawing - Mixed Media
A course designed to use your drawing skills. To get you to look at a variety of reference sources, and develop them into something beautiful in a variety of media. Prosp User 3
This course is suitable for those who have been on any drawing courses, for painters who would like to refresh the media they use. Prosp User 4
You will need for the first lesson:
A good set of pencils (these can be purchased from The Range, Hobby Craft and any good art shops either on the high street or over the internet), the sort with a few B grade pencils and H grade pencils.
A rubber
A pencil sharpener
A sheet of fine grade sandpaper.
A sketch book, above size A4.
An ink pen.
A good set of pencil crayons.
A set of pastels (inscribe are a good first set, can get from Amazon, great art or Jacksons online). Pastel mat or paper.


Details for reference material will be given nearer the start of the course.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using.

You will receive your Zoom login details in an email that is sent out 24 hours before the course is due to start. (Please note, if you enrol less than 24 hours before a course starts, you will receive your zoom code as soon as you enrol.) Please keep your Zoom code safe as you will need the same code for further classes if this is part of a course.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.

If you require help to download or use Zoom, please email ictskills@york.gov.uk at least a week before your course starts and we will endeavour to provide assistance.

Please ensure that you read and understand the H&S guidelines on any new creative product you intend to use during the course, before the first class.

You will be sent the reference photo via email; it is up to you to have it ready to use for each session.
