Enjoy developing your child's language skills through simple activity ideas using rhymes, books and play. With a focus on shapes, colours and numbers in the spring term, be inspired and learn new ideas; make friends and share your own experiences with other parents and carers.

Open Is this course suitable for me?
This is an an ideal course for parents, carers and grandparents of children aged from 6 months to 2 years. Each week’s activity is different so you can start at any time of the term – although the sooner you join us, the more fun you’ll have! Prosp User 4
Open What do I need to bring and are there any additional costs?
You will be need to be able to access Zoom on the internet on a smartphone, tablet, Ipad, laptop or PC. If you have not used Zoom before or cannot access the internet, please let us know and we will do our best to support you to join in. Prosp User 5
Open Is there anything else I need to know?
This is an online course delivered using Zoom. Please make sure that you can access this on the device you are using. If you need help to download or start Zoom, please give us a ring or email ictskills@york.gov.uk before your course starts and we will support you to get going.
We send you the Zoom links and joining instructions by email a few days before the start of the course. Please join the class five minutes before your session is due to start and you will go into a "waiting room" until your tutor starts the class.
New to Zoom or any issues, please just ask - our team are always happy to help!
