Textile Landscapes
Stitch a gentle landscape using textured fabrics, wool, net, embroidery thread and beads. Starting with a very simple line drawing, just four flowing lines, you will be then shown how to transfer that to fabric. You will layer your fabrics in a way that emphasises distance and foreground. Simple hand stitches will be used to attach the fabrics and add surface decoration.

A package of materials will be sent to you prior the session. This will include tracing paper, background fabric, some textured fabrics, net, wool, beads and a small amount of embroidery thread. The price of this kit and the cost of postage out to you is included in the cost of the course. You will be contacted to establish which pack you require prior to the start of the course.

The session is 4 hours in length although we will stop for a quick break for lunch halfway through.

Enrolments for the course end on the 5th March to give us time to get the kits posted out.
