Open Course Description
This course will reveal how maths is all around us in everyday tasks and activities. We will share tips, fun games and exciting activities to do with your child to help develop their early understanding of numbers and shapes. Join us and set your child off on a lifelong journey and love of maths! Prosp User 3
Open Is this course suitable for me?
This courses is perfect for parents, grandparents or carers of children aged 2 and above up to the early years of primary school. It is also ideal for anyone wanting to volunteer or work in early years settings. Prosp User 4
Open What do I need to bring and are there any additional costs?
You might want to have paper and pencils handy and you are welcome to share examples of number activities or resources you use at home or that are used in your child’s school or nursery.
You will need to be able to access the Internet but please contact us if you this is a problem for you, as we may be able to help. Prosp User 5
Open Is there anything else I need to know?
This is an online course delivered using Zoom. Please make sure that you can access this on the device you are using. If you need help to download or start Zoom, please give us a ring or email ictskills@york.gov.uk before your course starts and we will support you to get going.
We send you the Zoom links and joining in structions by email a few days before the start of the course. Please join the class five minutes before your session is de to start and you will go into a "waiting room" until your tutor starts the class.
