Art for Wellbeing - Creating Wellbeing
Art is a doorstep to wellbeing…. the creation of aesthetic items and the focus and involvement in making art is beneficial for both mind and body.
This course is for those who wish to improve their confidence and wellbeing through the process of drawing and painting. The emphasis of the course is on ‘having a go’ with lots of exploration and experimenting with varied mediums, allowing yourself to make happy accidents (serendipity).
In this safe environment learners will develop their drawing and painting abilities, learn about the positive effects of colour and composition and explore how to adapt materials to achieve amazing results.
The course will introduce learners to artworks and artists and a multitude of imagery for learners to familiarise with.

Please ensure that you have read the other information about what you need to bring and anything else you need to know.
