Lets Stay Active
A 6 week online course designed to compliment your current activity levels or as a follow on from our “Let’s Get Active” course. Ideal for people who are currently active but want to do a little more.

You will be working with an experienced exercise specialist who will offer alternatives and adaptations to help you build your activity levels, at your own pace, within the comfort of your own home.

You will be offered a one to one Zoom consultation as part of the course to help you set your personal realistic goals which you will monitor as you progress week by week. You will also have opportunities to share in a Q & A session at the end of each class.

We will work on your mobility, flexibility, strength, stamina and breathing exercises, all of which can help build confidence to enable you to then "stay active" and continue to see and feel the benefits to your health and wellbeing that this brings.

The Government's recent strategy recommends that as a nation in general we need to get more active and lose weight. It’s about empowering everyone with the right information to make better choices. “COVID-19 has given us a wake-up call. We need to use this moment to kick start our health, get active and eat better” (DHSC, 2020).

We know inactivity and obesity increases the risk of serious illness (and even death from such as Coronavirus) so it’s vital we take action to protect the NHS and continue to improve our own health. So come along and join us, Stay Active and have fun - What have you got to lose?
