AAT computerised accounts - Level 1 Award
We will provide you with a fundamental understanding of the principles of basic bookkeeping using computerised systems. The software we use for this course is Sage Line 50. A good basic understanding of how to use a computer will be required as SAGE is a computer based software package. You will be required to do some home study every week and you will be expected to complete two assessments.

On successful completion of the assessment tasks you will gain an AAT employer recognised Level 1 Award in Computerised Bookkeeping Skills.

If you have a criminal record or have been made bankrupt, AAT may not accept you as a member meaning you would not be able to sit your exams. Please note, spent convictions or road traffic offences dealt with via a fixed penalty notice do not have to be declared.
This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive details and joining instructions on how to access the course shortly before the start date by email.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.

If you require help to download or use Zoom, please email ictskills@york.gov.uk at least a week before your course starts and we will endeavour to provide assistance.
