Japanese Beginners - Term 2
This course is for everyone who wants to start from scratch with the study of the Japanese language. The course will focus on the hiragana writing system, greetings and the basic structure of the sentence. You will also be studying some kanji.

This course will be taught online via Zoom, so please ensure that you read the section 'Is there anything else I need to know?'

If you have never studied Japanese or if you have a superficial understanding of the hiragana writing system, this course is suitable for you. Prosp User 4
A notebook and pen. The tutor will provide all the material in PDF format. You can print the material or just open it on a tablet or laptop. Prosp User 5
No session on 16th February 2021.

During the week you will be asked to do some homework or watch videos on YouTube that support the learning process.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive details and joining instructions on how to access the course shortly before the start date by email.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
