Spanish Year 2 & 3 - Term 2
Term 1: - Learn how to ask for directions in town and be able to follow them. You will also be able to ask for the time and tell someone what time it is, in addition to asking about the opening and closing times of shops and attractions. Furthermore, you will learn how to talk about what you are going to do in the near future.

This course will be taught online via Zoom so it is important that you also read the section 'Is there anything else I need to know?'

Term 2: - You will also learn how to conjugate irregular verbs in the present tense and how to use them correctly. You will build confidence using public transport and be able to ask for arrival and departure times, in addition to buying tickets and checking travel details.

Term 3: - You will learn how to book or check into a hotel over the phone or in person, in addition to ensuring that your room has the proper amenities. Furthermore, you will be able to ask about the facilities in the hotel and resolve any issues that may arise with the room. You will also be able to talk about the type of accommodation you prefer and where you like to go on holiday.

This course is for anyone interested in building on their basic Spanish to be able to socialise with native Spanish speakers. You should have previously completed Beginner’s Spanish.

This is a mixed year two and three class, and will therefore include topics that are revision for year three students. Resources will be aimed at the different abilities of both years two and three students to ensure all can participate.

This is term 2 of a 3 term course.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive details and joining instructions on how to access the course shortly before the start date by email.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
