ECDL (ITQ) - Level 1 - IT Office Skills
Get up to date computer skills for the workplace and gain an ECDL Level 1 Certificate for IT Users.
You will learn the basics computer skills needed for three Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel and Outlook. You will create and edit a word-processed document and then save/retrieve files you have created into an organised list of folders.
Moving forward you will create and edit a spreadsheet using simple formulae and go on to present data using graphs and charts. Then you will learn how to use the Internet effectively and then using Outlook you will be shown a host of skills relating to email, using the calendar and contacts list. The final module is using all the skills you have learnt in the previous 3 modules and applying them in a work based scenario to complete the course. This course is very beneficial to those wishing to progress to an ECDL Level 2 as it covers all of the relevant subjects at Level 1.
