Re-Make, Re-Love - Soft Toy Dog
It is amazing what you can do with your old clothes and a bit of imagination! Bring a smile to a child’s face (or a kid at heart) and because they are made from recycled materials no two are exactly alike. You will need a sewing machine to complete the task (some hand sewing will also be required).
Spend two fun filled sessions making these beautiful characters. You will start the class by watching a pre-recorded video of the techniques involved, and then be guided through the process step-by step by the experienced tutor. The session will be relaxed and allow for a short break within the time.

Please note that demonstrations have been recorded in the period since March 2020 in tutors’ own homes. All videos and PowerPoint presentations will be sent to the learners following the session and available to use as a resource in their future projects.

Suitable for beginners (with basic sewing machine skills) and more competent learners alike. This class is available for children 10+ (with some basic sewing machine skills) to participate in.
However, as the sessions are designed for the post 19+ learner, we insist that an adult is present throughout the session.
*Please note, a fully working sewing machine is required to complete this course – no time will be available from the tutor to fix sewing machine problems.*

You will need to provide your own fabrics and haberdashery to complete the tasks – detailed information of the requirements and pattern pieces will be emailed in advance of the course. ….In the meantime, why don’t you start looking out for fabrics that might be suitable?
Top Tip: - Anything with a high “cotton” content is perfect – Anything with a high “stretch” capacity is not…..
