DIY - Painting, Decorating & Home Maintenance
This course provides an interactive beginner’s guide to general maintenance and home improvements. Your tutor will guide you with practical demonstrations and discussions to review your work and answer your questions.
Topics will include painting, wallpapering, tiling, shelving, creating wood joints and other basic home maintenance tasks. Other subjects such as bricklaying, or ideas suggested by the class, will be included if there is time available.

This course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn basic home DIY skills. No prior knowledge is required as you will be guided through each task at a suitable pace, starting with what tools are required, up until the completion of each task. Prosp User 4
Please attend the first lesson with a notepad, pencil and measuring tape. Additional materials you will require to follow the demonstrations or to complete your own tasks will be discussed before each lesson. Prosp User 5

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive details and joining instructions on how to access the course shortly before the start date by email.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
