Bite-Size - Email Photos
This is a flexible learning course. You will be working from a workbook with the support of an experienced tutor. You will learn how to add and download photographs to your emails and understand how to protect your computer when downloading photos that have been emailed to you. You will learn about file compression and about free software available online to minimise file size. There is no certificate for this course, but your work will be assessed by your tutor to provide feedback and track progress. There are opportunities for a 1-1 half hour support session if you are struggling to translate this course to your own device. The Course Last for 2hrs

For an intermediate computer user who has some knowledge of using the Internet and has an existing email account. There will be a short phone assessment to ensure your skills are sufficient to allow you to benefit from this course. You may register for up to three different bitesize courses.

You will need a folder, notebook, pen and pencil. You might want to bring a USB memory stick. Please make sure you are familiar with your username and password for your existing email account.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive details and joining instructions of how to access the course shortly before the start date by email.
You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once your session is ready to begin.
If you require help to download or use Zoom, please email ictskills@york.gov.uk at least a week before your course starts and we will endeavour to provide assistance.
