This is not a beginner’s class; some sewing/pattern cutting experience will be necessary.

*Please note, a fully working sewing machine is required to complete this course – no time will be available from the tutor to fix sewing machine problems.*
Prosp User 4
You will need to provide your own zips, fabrics and pattern paper to complete the tasks – detailed information of the requirements and pattern pieces will be sent out once enrolled.
There may also be an option for the tutor to send out a ‘pack’ with all the equipment needed – please ask for further details and cost. *Please note this will need to be requested at least 2 weeks prior to the course starting and is subject to availability.*
A sewing machine compatible ‘standard’ zipper foot will be required to complete the course (and concealed zip foot if you have one – but you do not need to go out and buy one).

Please note that demonstrations have been recorded in the period since March 2020 in tutors’ own homes. All videos and power points will be available to the learners following the session and available to use as a resource in their future projects.
No session on 26th October 2020.

The course will be fully supported by Google Classroom where weekly demonstrations and other useful material will be uploaded by the tutor. This platform can also be used to keep in touch with likeminded learners to share ideas between sessions and keep a record of your progress.

This is an online course that will be delivered via Zoom, so please ensure that you can access this on the device you are using. You will receive details and joining instructions on how to access the course shortly before the start date by email.

You will need to join Zoom five minutes before your session is due to start and remain in the “waiting room”. Your tutor will then admit you to the class once our session is ready to begin.

If you require help to download or use Zoom, please contact us at least a week before your course starts and we will endeavor to provide assistance.

Please ensure that you read and understand the health and safety guidelines for any creative product, machinery or tools that you intend to use during the course, before the first class.
