Introduction to Pilates for the Absolute Beginner
Our Introduction to Pilates course is ideal for complete beginners. Over a period of three weeks, we will introduce you to the six principles of Pilates: concentration, control, centre, flow, precision and breathing. You will be taught about the ‘powerhouse’ (centre of the body) and how breath control, core activation and posture affects this.

You will learn to use the ‘powerhouse’ to help you perform Pilates exercises effectively and ultimately increase body strength, joint mobility, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and good postural alignment.
