Summer Festival: Summer Picnic Family Flour Power!
Join us for our Summer Festival classes to keep you learning. We didn’t want to leave you bored over the summer and yearning for your learning, so we’ve decided to hold a Summer Festival where you can continue your favourite class with your favourite tutor or even try something new!

Join Hilary again for this family-friendly Flour Power baking session aimed at families. Parents and grandparents are welcome and the kids can join in for this session too! Hilary will explain easy and effective methods of baking bread in your home kitchen. You will learn about the different ingredients involved and how to judge when doughs are mixed, fermented, proved and baked.

In this workshop you will make savoury bread, which you will then create into a rolled Stromboli filled with cheeses and meats or herbs, or a savoury cottage-style loaf. These breads are perfect for a picnic or alfresco dining in the garden. Whilst waiting for our bread to prove, we will make some raspberry swirl blondies to take on your picnic as a sweet treat!
