Sitting for long periods? Then this class is for you!
Yoga for Wellbeing is a short 35-minute online standing class for anybody who sits for prolonged periods. Research shows that sitting for long periods can have negative effect on health and is often uncomfortable. This can contribute to tightness in the hips and legs, in addition to neck, shoulder and back pain in the upper body.
Using postures to promote flexibility, your tutor, Michelle, will help you to work on areas of tension so that you can identify and correct imbalances. Yoga is good for your mental health, helps calm the mind and slows racing thought patterns. It also has a positive effect on stress and anxiety, improving mood.
