Cert. Counselling Skills - CPCAB Level 2 Fast Track
This qualification is for candidates who wish to develop confidence and competence in applying counselling skills in a wider helping role
This course will increase your confidence and competence in the understanding and application of counselling skills to help others, in a wider helping role (either in a voluntary or employed capacity). On completion of the course you will not have qualified counsellor status (this involves further study and experience) but it will provide you with some useful tools and techniques that can be applied in a ‘helping / supportive’ role in various settings e.g. health, education, community, youth, and social work. Upon completion of the 7 mandatory units you will be able to listen to and support others safely and professionally. You are required to complete a portfolio of work and sit an exam in order to gain the qualification.
On successful completion you will gain Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills by CPCAB. There will be an opportunity to progress on to the CPCAB Level 3 in Counselling Studies.
