Hand Built Pottery - All Levels
You will learn how to hand-build, using real clay.
There will be in depth demonstrations weekly, to show you slab-building, coiling, pinching & modelling. You will be shown how to add texture & colour to your work before firing.
Your work will be glazed & fired in the kiln... both during the course and after the course has finished. The workshops will be lead by an experienced Ceramicist & tailored to suit your requirements. This course is suitable for both beginners & those with some experience of working with clay.

A relaxing environment where you will learn how to create your own pots which you will get to take home.

Please wear old clothes, or an apron, and bring along a sketch/notepad and a pencil.
Teas & Coffee will be provided. Please note limited wheelchair access. On Street parking in cul de sac or on driveway. Plenty of bicycle space. No 40 is at the end of the cul de sac with solar panel on the roof.

An additional charge of £10 will be made by the tutor to cover the costs of materials during the course. There is also a £1 per item charge made for firing.
Please note that there are dogs living within the premises, however, learners do not come into contact with them.
