Social Jive and Rock and Roll Beginners
Come and join us and learn the basics of Jive and Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing to be used socially.
A free taster for beginners: dancers will learn the basics of jive, incorporating some rock ‘n’ roll and jitterbug. If you then join the course you will learn a new figure each week to create a short routine, with the opportunity to attempt more complex steps if you like.
By the end of the course you should be able to recognise appropriate jive music, dance in time to music, incorporate several figures into a routine and either lead or follow an un-choreographed routine.
