DSLR Photography - Get off Auto!
Do you know how your digital camera works, but you aren’t always getting the shots you want? Are you a total beginner? Spend time learning photography with Christopher Manson in Fulford. This workshop is geared towards beginners wanting to learn how to take better photos as well as more advanced photographers seeking a refresher course. Christopher will encourage you to leave your comfort zone by getting off Automatic Mode and guide you through the very basics of photography including the three components of what photographers call the "Exposure Triangle": Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO.

By the end of the course you will have gained knowledge about: Shutter Speeds, Aperture, F-Stops (how to use them creatively), ISO and photosensitivity, White balance (how to avoid blue and yellow casts in your photography), Creative Focusing, Camera Programs (the main programs explained), Composition and the Rule-of-Thirds.
