Curries of the World
Over the duration of the course you will learn how to make a personal selection of curries from several countries around the world. All countries have their own specific dishes using a variety of ingredients. We will visit Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Morocco, Jamaica and Indian districts. In this course you will learn how to make a traditional paste and sauce, seal meat and use the herbs and spices of the country to create a tasty dish. Each week there will be dishes for vegetarians and each week you will have a choice of 2 or 3 dishes to cook depending upon your expertise. * Cooked prawns in these dishes should be eaten within 4 hours or omitted and added at home when re heating Prosp User 3
This course is suitable for those who wish to learn more about dishes from other countries to increase their repertoire of dishes to use to feed the family or entertain friends Prosp User 4
Please bring with a small and large sharp knife, apron, two tea towels, plastic containers with lids or dishes in which to take your food home in. You will be asked to bring your own ingredients. Recipes will be emailed 2 weeks prior to the class and should cost no more than £10-15 (depending on number of portions you choose to make) Prosp User 5
