How to Cook - Back to Basics
Learn to be a good cook who can produce a meal adapting what you have in your store cupboard: that tastes good, is healthy and suits you and your lifestyle!

If you can master a white sauce you can prepare limitless dishes; from cream soups to double baked soufflés. The recipes are quick and easy, so if you can cook but lack inspiration or time for everyday meals, this short course will provide some ideas. If you are new to cooking, the instructions are short and you will leave with a repertoire of dishes you can cook. We will cover a variety of dishes, including chicken in orange and honey, risotto, coriander and lime fishcakes, chocolate mousse, white chocolate cheesecake, Pork Dijonnaise, salmon en croute, filled meatloaf or burgers, teriyaki chicken, apple amoretti tart, and beef in black bean sauce.

You will gain the skills and ideas for creating an impressive meal or two for your friends and family, and learn how to adapt recipes using different ingredients. You will have learnt some techniques that you can apply to other recipes and be given further ideas of how you can use these new skills at home.
