Woodwork for Beginners
This course enables learners to grasp basic woodworking knowledge & practical skills using hand tools. By the end of this short course a small project should be ready to take home. You will learn how to: Mark out and cut a piece of timber with a hand saw; Use a wood plane and a chisel; Understand and make one wood joint (lap) and have knowledge of at least two others (tenon, etc); Glue and clamp a wooden structure together and apply an appropriate finish to said project.
