Mindfulness - Self Care Sunday
Prioritise yourself for a change and join us for a day at the beautiful Middlethorpe Hall exploring the topic of self-care through the lens of mindfulness. Buffet lunch included.

Self-care is everywhere, but what does it look and feel like and how on earth can we practice it in the midst of our busy lives?! During this day workshop we will take time out in the beautiful surroundings of Middlethorpe Hall to explore the topic of self-care through the lens of mindfulness. There will be space to rest, reflect and consider how self-care might become more integrated into our day to day lives.
For those new to mindfulness this is also an opportunity to find out more about secular meditation. The workshop will include practical experiences of mindfulness meditation and the opportunity to ask questions/explore some of the common misconceptions about mindfulness meditation.

This workshop offers
- an introduction to self-care through the lens of mindfulness
- time out to prioritise self-care
- the opportunity to consider how self-care might become more integrated into our day to day lives
- next steps for those who would like to learn mindfulness meditation.

Everyone is welcome! No previous experience required.
Maybe self-care is a topic you’ve been giving thought to or maybe you just know you need some space, either way we look forward to meeting you!
Please note this is an introductory workshop designed to offer both an opportunity for self-care and to be guided in the practice of mindfulness meditation. You may have had a go at meditation and found your mind too busy or that you fell asleep; you may have been recommended by someone else to try out mindfulness - whatever the reason, this is your opportunity to find out more! Whilst guidance will be offered for those who would like to go on to learn mindfulness as a means of self-care there is no expectation to do so - curious/sceptics welcome.
