Spanish Year 2 - Term 2

Term 1: - Learn how to make more detailed introductions, talk about leisure activities and ask for information at the tourist office. You will learn how to talk about your likes, dislikes, daily routines, describe your house and start using the past tense. Learn to hold conversations more confidently whilst on holiday and at the tourism office.
Terms 2 & 3: -Learn to express your interests and understand information you are given. Give a description of your home/hotel and to ask and give more elaborated directions. We will also learn to talk about our hobbies and planning activities.
You will learn by listening to and repeating new words and phrases, reading simple texts, doing a variety of exercises and practising new language in role play situations.

This course is for anyone interested in building on their basic Spanish to be able to socialise with native Spanish speakers. You will already by able to talk about your family and friends, your routine day and make enquiries at the tourist information office. Prosp User 4
New students welcome, but please note that this is a course for students who have done at least 30 weeks of Spanish learning before. Please bring a notebook, an A4 ring binder and coloured pens (Approx £5). Also the book ‘Talk Spanish 2’, BBC, ISBN 978 140 66 79328 (£16.99 for book and 2 audio CDs).

New students are very welcome, but please realise this is a Year 2 course, so students must have studied Spanish to at least Beginners level, at some point, previously.
