Willow Weaving - Rustic Basket
We will make a beautiful rustic basket starting with a willow frame. After weaving a basic willow frame we will then, go onto create, a beautiful, rustic willow basket. Hedgerow materials work well when woven into these baskets, but their use is optional.
During the day, you will learn about willow – the different sorts, the preparation, some new words relating to basket weaving, as well as a variety of weaving techniques.

The course is suitable for those with some experience and those with none.

All materials are provided at a cost of around £5 payable on the day. Bring sharp secateurs if you have and any hedgerow material that you would like to use that could add colour or texture to your work, such as “dogwood”.
