A1584T1-Fused Glass - Christmas Decorations
Connect with the luminous qualities of glass and make your own colourful decorations. Ideal for anyone new to working with glass. Come and unravel the mysterious of this wonderful material.
Your tutor will demonstrate the basics of sheet glass cutting, and how to handle the other glass materials safely. There will be a good selection of Christmas colours and you will have time to play and create 3 pieces for your home or to give as presents. You will be shown how to make a choice of several different Christmas decorations; at the end of the session your tutor will take way the assembled pieces so they can be fused in a kiln. They will be available for collection at a later date by arrangement with the tutor.
You will create some colourful and unique decorations. Verbal feedback will be given through the day from your friendly tutor.

A chance to have a play and learn new skills. All tools, materials & equipment will be provided by the tutor on the day. A materials charge (which also covers firing) of £10 will need to be paid directly to the tutor, in cash. This enables each learner to make 3 decorations. They can be collected after the workshop by arrangement with your tutor. Please wear enclosed shoes. Lunch is not provided so please bring a packed lunch or money to buy something locally. Coffee and tea will be available to purchase.
