B3015T1-Social Jive & Rock 'n' Roll Beginners part 2
Dancers will learn the basics of Jive and Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing to be used socially. Dancers will build on a basic knowledge of social jiving to include more figures, more intricate routines and be more confident dancing socially.
By the end of the course you should be able to choose figures that suit your style of dance, put together a short unchoreographed routine and dance with a partner using a range of figures.

This course is designed for couples who would like to dance together at social events. It is ideal for beginners with minimal of dancing or those who have completed Social Jive & Rock ‘n’ Roll Term 1 and suitable for those of all levels of fitness. (We cannot guarantee a partner if you come on your own.) Prosp User 4
Suitable footwear is advised: ballroom dance shoes or day shoes. Please avoid heavy shoes or boots and heels higher than 3”. Prosp User 5
Please arrive for your first class 10 minutes early to allow time to complete the health questionnaire to identify to the tutor any contra indications to exercise.
