Explore the joy of laughter exercise to increase health and wellbeing.
This Laughter workshop will introduce you to the concept of Laughter exercise as a tool for health and wellbeing. It has been scientifically proven that laughter has significant health benefits; it releases positive chemicals that can lift our mood; it reduces pain and strengthens our immune system. We do not need a sense of humour to laugh because our brains do not know the difference between laughing for real and pretend laughter, and importantly, pretend laughter releases the same positive chemicals into our bloodstream as genuine laughter – making us feel great.
The day will be a mixture of Tutor led meditation and group discussion, in a supportive fun atmosphere.
